INSTANT CLASSICS, FOR GOOD LUCK, TO ADD TO YOUR JEWELRY BOX

There is a no more significant symbol for the month of March than that of a four-leaf clover, the most famous good luck charm. It is one of the most popular representations of luck. Four-leaf clovers are considered lucky for their rarity. In the Middle Ages, it was believed by some Celtic groups that wielding a four-leaf clover would help you see fairies, as well as ward off evil spirits and grant the holder good luck.

There are many meanings assigned to the gentle daisy. These include innocence, happiness, good luck, and new beginnings. In Victorian times, daisies stood for loyalty and trust. Daisies are part of the Asteraceae family of flowers, which includes over 32,000 species. Due to their popularity and the fact that daisies can be found on every continent except Antarctica, they are subjects in the mythology and folklore of many cultures around the world.

I had no idea pinwheels have been around for such a long time...dating back to 400 B.C.! They are often used in Chinese New Year celebrations, as a wish and hope that all have good luck and fortune. I wanted to create a piece of jewelry that was a different type of good luck charm than what most people see time and time again. In my research, I came across the pinwheel, which means to "turn one's luck around".
