14K Breathtaking Tourmaline Diamond Ring

A one-of-a-kind tourmaline diamond ring with a truly unique look and personality...it would make the perfect alternative engagement ring!  The split ring is accented with sparkling white diamonds, and a round drop of gold has been placed in between each, leading up to the main stone.  The center stone is a large, gorgeous, multicolored tourmaline with hues of pink and orange.  Lighting changes the tones of these colors.  The tourmaline is specialty cut above and below the girdle, which enhances the brilliance of the gemstone.  It is made of eco-friendly 14-karat yellow gold.   The current size is 8, and due to the intricacy it is not able to be resized, however, it can be rebuilt to your size if needed.

Tourmaline is the faceted gemstone for October. While it does come in a variety of colors, the most popular colors are pink to pinkish-red and green to green-blue.  The variety many people gravitate towards is the watermelon tourmaline which showcases the stone in more of a rare form via a slice.  Watermelon tourmaline is very easy to spot due to it containing the colors of a watermelon.  Just like with the slice, not all tourmaline is faceted.  It is common for tourmaline to be set in jewelry as a rough stone as well as a cabochon.  Many people tend to confuse tourmaline for other types of gemstones. One example of this would be with ruby. The majority of tourmaline comes from Brazil. In the United States production of fine tourmaline has taken place in both California and Maine.

Diamonds are by far the most popular gemstone in the world.  Their durability, brilliance, and fire have stood the test of time throughout generations.  The diamond is the birthstone for April and is also used as the official 60th-anniversary gemstone.  Diamonds are known for being the traditional engagement ring stone of choice, representing "forever".  Salt and pepper diamonds continue to trend as an alternative engagement ring option, as they are still diamonds but with a twist.  Rose cut diamonds fall into the same category too, giving an ethereal, vintage, and antique look.
